The use of the ISWN-codes

The ISWN-code contains four different codes: ISWN-P(roducer), ISWN-W(ine), ISWN-V(intage) and ISWN-B(ottle).

There are two main codes used for Wines:

  • the short ISWN-W code for the wine brand or product
  • the full ISWN-B code for each wine bottle

In the tabel beneath, the different codes are displayed. You can click on each one of them to receive more information.
